DOES YOUR CHILD HAVE FIBROMYALGIA?

Monday, November 8th, 2010

If you have fibromyalgia, there is an increased likelihood your child may suffer from the same condition.  Here is what to look for:

-     Widespread pain,

-     Headaches,

-     Urinary and bowel problems,

-     Sleep disturbance,

-     Squirming or fidgeting,

-     Terrible hand writing,

-     Memory and learning problems,

-     Abdominal pain and

-     Twitches during sleep.

Without proper care, children with fibromyalgia will suffer pain that is very real and may even assume it’s their fault.  It’s imperative they visit a qualified doctor to get care for this problem.

At our center we recognize this legitimate condition and offer children and adults great relief.  While other methods have failed, our approach is gentle enough to be safe for children of all ages.  If your child has any of the above symptoms, call (303) 394-CARE (2273) now.

No More Fibromyalgia

Monday, October 11th, 2010

Fibromyalgia is a condition with no known cause or cure.  Patients at our clinic notice incredible results with the gentle care we provide.  Here is another real world testimonial.

“I have been a patient of Dr. V. for two weeks.  I came to him with chronic muscle and skeletal pain due to arthritis and fibromyalgia.  I suffered extreme headaches, leg, neck, back, hip, and foot pain. Now, I am feeling great relief.  Occasionally this pain reoccurs and I head in for a visit and feel better.  Dr. V. is a great humanitarian!”                                                                                       Sally G.

Will your results be like Sally’s?  You’ll never know unless you call (303) 394-CARE (2273). Mention this article for a FREE examination without obligation.

Denver Fibromyalgia

Why are so many fibromyalgia sufferers seeking our care?  Don’t chiropractors help with spinal problems?

There is a growing body of scientific evidence that shows that the relationship between the spine and nervous system determines how susceptible we are to fibromyalgia. The article below is still another example of why our care can be critical for fibromyalgia in particular.

The clinical syndrome of fibrositis.  Wolfe F, American Journal of Medicine 1986 vol. 81 (suppl 3A) Sept 29, 1986;7-14

Researchers found that 45.9% of people who had fibromyalgia and went to a chiropractor experienced moderate to great improvement.  In the same study, antidepressant medication benefited only 36.3% of those studied and exercise was limited to a 31.8% rate of improvement.

If you hurt all over, feel exhausted all the time, have muscle tenderness and want relief, call (303) 394-CARE (2273).  Let’s talk.  You may have fibromyalgia, and I can help.

Home Care For Fibromyalgia

Friday, June 18th, 2010

The most important thing you can do at home for fibromyalgia is to exercise. It may seem like the last thing you want to do. You may hurt all the time. You may feel completely exhausted, but mild exercise will actually help your condition. Even if you don’t feel like it, exercise anyway. You will get the energy back. Once you start, you will feel better. Go for a walk, ride a bike, or swim. It will actually energize your system in the long run. Even though you may feel tired or unable to sleep, exercise helps fibromyalgia.

If you’ve been blowing off exercise, or wonder exactly how to get started, call my center now, (303) 394-CARE
